TS-E135mm f/4L Macro

A telephoto tilt-shift lens that boasts of wide tilting and shifting ranges of ±10° and ±12mm respectively and the ability to shoot macro images at up to 0.5x maximum magnification. The 135mm focal length allows shooting from a longer working distance, great for studio photography where a variety of lighting equipment may be set up between the subject and camera, a common scenario in fields such as advertising photography. Improved operability through features such as large tilt and shift knobs and a locking mechanism to prevent unintended movement provide powerful support for professional shooting purposes. The lens construction utilizes large diameter glass molded aspherical lens elements, which reduces distortion aberration to the maximum possible, as well as UD lens elements, which realize high resolution and contrast. A special coating, Subwavelength Structure Coating (SWC), helps to reduce flaring and ghosting, realizing high quality images that uphold the reputation of L-lenses. Beautiful, creamy bokeh quality is possible thanks to the 9-blade circular aperture.
