Description
FEATURES
5-axis IS
The only entry class interchangeable lens camera with 5-axis image stabilisation.
The E-M10 Mark II is the only entry class interchangeable lens camera with 5-axis image stabilisation.* With this camera, anyone can capture beautiful, virtually blur-free images.
- As of August 2015 (According to Olympus research)
Blur-free images with 5-axis image stabilisation
General entry-class interchangeable lens camera
OM-D E-M10 Mark II
Many bad photos that appear to be out of focus are actually caused by camera shake. Because the E-M10 Mark II is equipped with 5-axis image stabilisation, you can capture beautiful interchangeable lens camera quality photos anytime, anywhere.
Nightscapes : Roll
The E-M10 Mark II uses in-body image stabilisation for compensating for camera roll that tends to occur when shooting nightscapes. (Roll cannot be compensated for on competitor interchangeable lens cameras with in-lens image stabilisation)
Macro : Shift
Shift tends to occur during macro shooting. With the E-M10 Mark II, shift is reduced for beautiful macro photos. (Shift cannot be compensated for on a competitor interchangeable lens camera with general in-lens image stabilisation)
Telephoto : Angular shake
Angular shake tends to occur during telephoto shooting. With the E-M10 Mark II, beautiful photos with virtually no angular shake are possible even during telephoto shooting.
Single-handed : Angular shake, roll
When shooting with a single hand, angular shake and roll occur more easily. However, angular shake and roll can drastically be reduced when shooting with the E-M10 Mark II.
5-axis image stabilisation realizes steady footage
In-lens image stabilisation
OM-D E-M10 Mark II
Angular shake and roll tend to occur when shooting movies. However, stable movies are made possible with the OM-D E-M10 Mark II.
Hand-held cinema-quality movies with OM-D Movie
OM-D Movie is an OM-D feature that makes hand-held, cinema-quality movies possible. The powerful 5-axis in-body image stabilisation system combined with a compact body and lens system lets you stay light on your feet when shooting. This compact system also makes it possible to capture natural expressions without distracting your subject.
5-axis image stabilisation supports the 3 major components of high-quality images
To achieve high-quality images, 3 components are necessary: the image sensor, the image processor, and the lens. A major function that supports these components is high-performance image stabilisation.
Stable framing for comfortable shooting
Press the shutter button halfway to check the image stabilisation effect.
When you press the shutter button halfway, the image in the viewfinder is stabilised. With a stable viewfinder image, accurate framing and focusing is possible even during macro or telephoto shooting.

OM-D E-M10 Mark II
Compact size makes it perfect for everyday use.
Small enough to easily take with you, and with a stylish design that makes you want to carry it around, the OM-D E-M10 Mark II is an interchangeable lens camera you can use every day.
A metal exterior reminiscent of a classic camera
A leather-textured surface is layered onto the metal exterior for design full of sophistication. This classic style is the very same that Olympus has been using on interchangeable lens cameras since the beginning.
Easy-to-use dial layout
An easy-to-use dial layout lets you control the camera without looking at your hands.
Viewfinder shooting style
With your eye to the viewfinder, the advanced styling of the OM-D E-M10 Mark II makes your shooting form look experienced.

High-speed Performance
High-speed Performance for Capturing the Best Expressions
Touch AF Shutter, popular for its speed and ease of use, accurately captures the expressions of fast-moving subjects with its high-speed performance.
Touch AF Shutter lets you capture the exact moment you’re waiting for
This model is equipped with Touch AF Shutter, so you can simply touch the subject on the rear monitor to instantly snap a photo of the subject. With a short shooting time lag and quick touch response, you can always capture the moment you’re waiting for.
General SLR of the same class
Even when touching the monitor…
there is long time lag and poor response
A longer shutter activiation time means you miss your moment.
E-M10 Mark II
Touch the area you want to focus on
The short shooting time lag and fast response make it easy to capture split-second expressions
Focus exactly where you want and defocus the background
Simply touch the area on the screen you want in focus. Achieving background defocusing effects, characteristic of interchangeable lens cameras, is easy with this camera.
8.5 fps sequential shots for precious moments
The OM-D E-M10 Mark II is capable of high-speed sequential shooting at 8.5 fps. This feature lets you capture fleeting precious moments.

Large, Easy-to-see Electronic Viewfinder
The model is equipped with a large, easy-to-see electronic viewfinder with 100% field of view. With this, you can shoot while confirming what the finished photo will look like.
2.36-million dot electronic viewfinder
General entry class interchangeable lens camera
OM-D E-M10 Mark II
The E-M10 Mark II OLED electronic viewfinder provides high-resolution at 2.36 million dots. The 100% field of view display is larger than that of same-class interchangeable lens cameras.
Easy to see even in dark locations
General SLR: Optical viewfinder
OM-D E-M10 Mark II: Electronic viewfinder
The optical viewfinder on most SLR cameras makes it difficult to see in dark situations, but the electronic viewfinder on the E-M10 Mark II gives you clear vision even in dark areas. Because the viewfinder optimises brightness no matter what lens is attached, you can shoot night scenes exactly as you want.
Confirm the shot in the viewfinder
General DSLR of the same class: Optical viewfinder
OM-D E-M10 Mark II: Electronic viewfinder
You can shoot while confirming the brightness, colour balance, and vividness in the viewfinder. This helpful function is not available in an optical viewfinder found on DSLRs.

Clips lets you combine short video clips into a single short movie
With Clips you can combine multiple video clips, add effects and add background music to create a short feature.
- The E-M10 Mark II records movies at preset times (1, 2, 4, and 8 seconds). If you press the movie button while recording, the movie clip can be extended up to a maximum of 16 seconds.
Focus Bracketing continuously shoots while changing focal positions
Simply press the shutter button once to capture multiple photos at different focal positions. Even in macro shooting you can capture photos with the focus just where you want it.
- Available when using an M.Zuiko Digital lens.
Flip-up monitor lets you shoot at the angle you like
You can flip the monitor in a range between 85 degrees upward and 45 degrees downward for shooting at low and high angles.
S-OVF (Simulated Optical Viewfinder) is convenient when shooting in backlit locations
S-OVF is a function that expands the dynamic range in the electronic viewfinder. This function is convenient for viewing the subject in backlit conditions.
- Available in P/A/S/M modes. Exposure compensation settings will not be shown.
- Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
- Screen captures on the monitor are composite images.
